Easy Yerushalmi Kugel

4 1/4 cups water
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine
1 cup sugar
2 tsp salt
1 heaping teaspoon pepper
12 oz fine noodles
2 eggs
1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
3 tbsp vegetable oil



  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine water, margarine, sugar, salt, and pepper in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Turn off heat, add noodles to pan and cover. Let stand for 10-15 minutes.

  2. Combine eggs, brown sugar, and oil in a bowl. Beat with a fork. Add to the saucepan and mix well. Let stand 15 minutes longer.

  3. Grease a bundt pan very well and pour in noodle mixture. Bake 1 1/4 hours until golden.

  4. Let cool, then remove from pan.
